Storage & Reconstitution
To ensure molecular integrity, this MOTS-c batch should be stored at 4°C (short-term) or -20°C (long-term). Upon reconstitution with Bacteriostatic Water, the solution remains stable for 5–7 days under refrigeration. MOTS-c is highly sensitive to temperature fluctuations; maintain a strict cold chain to preserve peptide bioactivity.
Each batch is subject to independent Mass Spectrometry and HPLC Analysis. Researchers may access all Certificate of Analyses (COAs) via our Lab Reports.
Researcher Inquiries
MOTS-c is a 16-amino acid peptide encoded by the mitochondrial 12S rRNA gene. It is a primary regulator of metabolic homeostasis, primarily researched for its role in the AMPK signaling pathway. Unlike nuclear-encoded peptides, MOTS-c functions as a mitochondrial signaling device that mediates nuclear-mitochondrial communication during metabolic stress.
For optimal stability, reconstitution should be conducted using Bacteriostatic Water. Allow the vacuum-sealed cake to reach room temperature before solvent introduction. Introduce solvent slowly along the interior glass wall to prevent mechanical shearing of the 16-amino acid sequence.

If you’re researching for energy or endurance this stuff seems to be working really well for me. Shipping was fast and it was well-packed. Didn’t notice any melting from the heat or anything. Package has some thermal wrap inside which maybe helped. Definitely beats ordering from outside the country
